فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ

Translation — Sahih International

But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word.

And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır Meali: Rabbinin emri gelip melekler sıra sıra dizildiği zaman,

But he has not broken through the difficult pass.

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır Meali: Fakat o, o sarp yokuşa göğüs veremedi.

And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır Meali: Sonra da iman edip de sabrı tavsiye eden ve merhamet tavsiye edenlerden olmaktır.

And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink."

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır Meali: Allah'ın Rasulü (Salih peygamber) onlara: "Allah'ın devesini ve onun su nöbetini gözetin." demişti.
