Surah Al-A'raaf, Verse 149

وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فِىٓ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْا۟ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّوا۟ قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Translation — Sahih International

And when regret overcame them and they saw that they had gone astray, they said, "If our Lord does not have mercy upon us and forgive us, we will surely be among the losers."

Quran Verse
قَالَ إِنِّى لَيَحْزُنُنِىٓ أَن تَذْهَبُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَأَخَافُ أَن يَأْكُلَهُ ٱلذِّئْبُ وَأَنتُمْ عَنْهُ غَٰفِلُونَ

[Jacob] said, "Indeed, it saddens me that you should take him, and I fear that a wolf would eat him while you are of him unaware."

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır Meali: Babaları dedi ki: "Onu götürmeniz beni üzer, korkarım ki onu kurt yer de sizin haberiniz bile olmaz."

Surah Yusuf, Verse 12

Quran Verse
أَرْسِلْهُ مَعَنَا غَدًۭا يَرْتَعْ وَيَلْعَبْ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

Send him with us tomorrow that he may eat well and play. And indeed, we will be his guardians.

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır Meali: "Yarın onu bizimle beraber gönder de gezsin, oynasın. Kesinlikle biz onu koruruz."

وَشَرَوْهُ بِثَمَنٍۭ بَخْسٍۢ دَرَٰهِمَ مَعْدُودَةٍۢ وَكَانُوا۟ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ

And they sold him for a reduced price - a few dirhams - and they were, concerning him, of those content with little.

Surah Yusuf, Verse 22

Quran Verse
وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥٓ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ حُكْمًۭا وَعِلْمًۭا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

And when Joseph reached maturity, We gave him judgment and knowledge. And thus We reward the doers of good.

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır Meali: O, tam erginlik çağına gelince, kendisine ilim ve hüküm verdik. İşte biz, güzel iş yapanları böyle mükafatlandırırız.
