Sahih Muslim — The Book on Government — Hadith No: 4761

وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَبَشِيًّا مُجَدَّعًا وَزَادَ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِنًى أَوْ بِعَرَفَاتٍ ‏

Translation

Another version of the tradition does not qualify the slave with the epithets" maimed,"" an Abyssinian" but makes the addition:" I have heard the Prophet (ﷺ) (say this) at Mina or 'Arafat

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ، نُمَيْرٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ حَفْصِ، بْنِ غِيَاثٍ - قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، - عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَمْلُوكًا فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَأَتَصَدَّقُ مِنْ مَالِ مَوَالِيَّ بِشَىْءٍ قَالَ ‏ "‏ نَعَمْ وَالأَجْرُ بَيْنَكُمَا نِصْفَانِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Umair, the freed slave of Abi'l-Lahm reported:I was the slave (of Abi'l-Lahm). I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) if I could give some charity out of my master's wealth. He said: Yes, and the reward is half and half between you two

Hadith
حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَالْحَسَنُ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ، الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِإِسْنَادِ يُونُسَ وَمَعْنَى حَدِيثِهِ ‏.‏

This hadith has been narrated by Zuhri through another chain of transmitters

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ، أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَا يَزَالُ الرَّجُلُ يَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَيْسَ فِي وَجْهِهِ مُزْعَةُ لَحْمٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Hamza b. 'Abdullah b. Umar heard his father say that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said:The person would continue begging from people till he would come on the Day of Resurrection and there would be no flesh on his face

وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا أَنْ تُبَاعَ بِخَرْصِهَا كَيْلاً ‏.‏

Zaid b. Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) granting concession in case of 'ariyya transactions and that implies selling of (dry dates for fresh dates) according to a measure
