A hadith like this is transmitted by Ma'mar from Hammam b. Munabbih on the authority of Abu Huraira who reported it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
It is narrated on the authority of Jarir that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed:The slave who fled from his master, responsibility with regard to him was absolved
Jarir b. Abdullah reported it from the Holy Prophet:When the slave runs away from his master, his prayer is not accepted
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Tahir with this chain of transmitters
Bana Ebû Saîd el-Eşecc dahi rivâyet etti. ki: Bize Vekî' rivâyet etti. ki: Bize A'meş, Müseyyeb b. Râfi'den o da Âmir b. Abede'den naklen rivâyet etti. Âmir Şöyle dedi: dedi ki: şeytan insan kılığına girerek cemâate gelir de onlara yalandan hadîs söyler. Az sonra o cemâat dağılırlar. Onlardan bazısı: Bir adam dinledim; yüzünü tanıyorum ama adının ne olduğunu bilmiyorum; hadîs söylüyordu; der.»
